I loved the floor I was on and the window actually opened.
The bathtub grout wasn't sparkling.
The moment I saw the hotel Lafayette online, I knew it was special. And since it was our first trip in a few years, we were very surprised to feel as comfortable as we did. Although we had planned on seeing all the sights, we ended up in the room of this lovely hotel most of the trip. ...read more

The employees were professional and friendly.
The restaurant and bar were out of business, and had to leave the hotel to eat or drink.
Good location, right on the trolley line. The employees were professional and friendly. The room was nice size, with a good sized bathroom. The TV was very small and did not have any movie channels. Both the restaurant and bar were closed with no opening date in mind. There isn't any common or public area (pool, etc.), so if you want a place to clean up and sleep this place is for you. ...read more
